Art with Everyday Items

The 8 th graders used Post It Notes to create these fantastic architectural pieces of art. After we spent some time "mastering the fold" the students were on their own. Great job!

Love This!

While Van Gogh was on the mind... I found this poster.

It's a Starry Night in the City

The 2nd graders rocked this project! It as an extension of a landscape lesson that Ms. G taught earlier.

Blue Dog

I love everything about George Rodrigue's Blue Dog paintings, so did the 3rd graders! They especially loved making tints and painting like "true" artists ( their words)

8th Grade Paper Sculpture

The 8th graders were challenged to create a 3 dimensional sculpture from a flat piece of paper. They were challenged and a bit daunted by the idea. I was daunted by giving 8 th graders glue guns!
